Ocean Clean Up
Technical support for the early stage development of an innovative, zero energy ocean clean up technology. This has involved early TRL 1-3 testing, and development.
The unique new zero-pollution zero-emissions form of marine transport that could solve the growing problems of several sectors of the industry. Harnessing the ‘orbital velocity’ of the waves it can move with or against wave direction as desired, producing bollard pull. While there is a wide range of potential applications under study the likely first role is tackling the Oceans’ plastic waste gyres.
